Shipping and Receiving Floater/Media Roller

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages
• Ship media via UPS, FedEx, and LTL
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling media products accurately
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain organized stock areas through stocking and inventory replenishment of media
• Assist with inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all shipping and receiving activities
• Support packaging operations for outgoing orders, ensuring products are securely packed for transit
• Communicate with sales, vendors, and customers

Skills

• Experience operating forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and order picker equipment
• Strong understanding of warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving procedures, and order fulfillment processes
• Prioritizing orders for shipment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
• Familiarity with packaging techniques for various product types in e-commerce or distribution settings
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking, packing, and stock management
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
