Oberlin Filter is looking for a new part-time maintenance technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver and have a mechanical and electrical aptitude. This is a position that may be well suited for a retired worker who would like to keep busy and make some extra income or for a second shift worker who would like additional hours for income.

Job Summary:
- Daily forklift inspections and documentation
- Maintenance of facility: air filters, snow blower, water softener, changing light bulbs, snow removal
- Maintaining equipment: diagnosing and repairing saws and welding equipment
- Using our truck to deliver or pick up parts at various local businesses
- Keeping a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
A Successful Candidate will:
- Preferably have the ability to do small engine repair
- Have High School diploma or equivalent
- Understand written and verbal English
- Work 5 hours per day, first shift
- Observe and comply with safety regulations
- Not be afraid of heights as climbing a ladder is necessary
- Age 18 or older
- Have a very good driving record in order to be accepted by our insurance carrier
