Are you passionate about supporting local businesses, growing our community, and making a difference in Decatur County? We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and motivated individual to serve as our next Executive Director!

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Promote economic development, business growth, and entrepreneurship throughout Decatur County.
• Assist businesses with business loan applications and community organizations with grant funding opportunities.
• Build relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and regional partners.
• Support workforce development, business recruitment, retention, and expansion.
• Plan, organize, and promote Chamber events, ribbon cuttings, and community activities.
• Recruit and maintain Chamber memberships.
• Manage social media, website updates, marketing, and community communications.
• Prepare meeting agendas, attend Board meetings, and provide organizational updates.
• Assist with community development projects and other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working with businesses, community members, and local government.
• Self-motivated, professional, and passionate about rural community development.
