Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated HVAC Journeyman Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and utilize technical skills.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components according to schematics and HVAC design plans
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately assemble and install complex equipment
- Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, cleaning ducts, and calibrating controls to optimize system performance
- Utilize tools including ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for metal fabrication as needed
- Operate a vehicle safely to transport equipment and materials between job sites
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Journeyman or Service Technician with strong mechanical knowledge
- Extensive construction experience with familiarity in schematics, HVAC design, plumbing, refrigeration, and property maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a vehicle safely
