Software Team Lead
OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking a Software Team Lead to support our ARMY/MDA customer onsite at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL.
Job Responsibilities include: Lead a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Use C and Java to design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable software applications.
- Lead development of Gitlab CI/CD pipeline and workflow capabilities
- Maintain and enhance existing software, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables
- Perform code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance
Minimum Requirements:
- Capability to lead a medium size team of s/w developers, and willing to share knowledge and mentor others.
- Significant experience in C and Java
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- 10 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Cyber, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline: however, 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Proficiency with development tools and environments, including version control systems such as Gitlab
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Required Education: Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Cyber, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
