Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Operate the point of sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and merchandising to maximize sales potential
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting remote inquiries
- Support supervising staff with daily operations, including training new team members or overseeing store activities when needed
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions
- Previous supervising experience is a plus for leadership responsibilities within the team
- Ability to perform product demos confidently to educate customers and boost sales opportunities
