Content Writer

Position Summary

We’re looking for a strong writer with a strategic mindset to lead our inbound marketing efforts. This role will help drive qualified traffic, leads, and sales by positioning Oasis as the most trusted authority in the lawn care industry through written content.

You’ll work directly with our team to turn real customer questions into clear, honest, educational content using the They Ask, You Answer and Endless Customers frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute our content strategy
• Publish at least three new written pieces per week
• Interview internal subject matter experts for content development
• Edit, proofread, and improve written materials
• Collaborate with sales to identify content topics and build an editorial calendar
• Lead Search Engine Optimization and Artificial Intelligence Optimization efforts for website and blog content
• Use analytics (GA4, Search Console, CRM, Semrush, etc.) to guide decisions
• Manage email marketing efforts, including newsletters and workflows
• Use AI tools responsibly to enhance content creation and efficiency
• Develop premium content offers (pillar pages, guides, ebooks, self-selection tools)
• Support content distribution across digital platforms
• Pursue continued professional development in content and marketing strategy

Education

Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations preferred but not required. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Skills & Qualifications

• Exceptional writing and editorial skills
• Strong desire to educate
• Project management skills and ability to meet consistent deadlines
• Strong interviewing and listening skills
• Data-driven decision-making mindset
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Familiarity with SEO, AI Tools, and Analytics tools like Google Analytics or GA4 preferred
