Physical Therapist / Physical Therapist Assistant

Pelvic Health Whole-Body Physical Therapy | Full-Time, Part-Time, or Flexible Schedule

Job Overview

Oasis Physical Therapy was created by a physical therapist who wanted something different—for patients, but also for the clinicians caring for them.

We are a specialty pelvic health practice built around longer visits, individualized care, clinical autonomy, collaboration, and the belief that physical therapists should have the time and support to actually think, treat, and connect with their patients.

You do not need to already be a pelvic health specialist to belong here.

Maybe pelvic health is already your passion. Maybe you have been curious about it but haven't had the training or opportunity to explore it. Or maybe you are simply a great PT or PTA looking for a different way to practice—one with more time with patients, greater autonomy, meaningful mentorship, and a schedule that leaves room for life outside of work.

We would love to have that conversation.

We are open to full-time, part-time, or something in between depending on the right person's goals and season of life. We care much more about finding someone who fits our team and approach to care than fitting someone into a predetermined schedule.

What Makes Oasis Different

  • One-on-one, unrushed care with visits typically ranging from 1–2 hours
  • Clinical autonomy and the freedom to use your skills and clinical reasoning
  • Intentional, ongoing mentorship that intentionally goes beyond an open-door policy
  • Pelvic health training and development for clinicians interested in growing into the specialty
  • Flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and individualized options
  • Streamlined documentation designed to protect time and reduce unnecessary administrative burden
  • A whole-body approach that considers movement, breathing, strength, mobility, lifestyle, stress, sleep, nutrition, and the nervous system
  • A calm, welcoming clinical environment designed intentionally for both patients and providers
  • A small, collaborative team where asking questions, sharing ideas, and continuing to grow are part of the culture

Our primary specialty is pelvic health, but we never forget that the pelvic floor is part of a whole person. Strong orthopedic skills, movement knowledge, curiosity, and clinical reasoning are incredibly valuable here.

What You'll Do

You will provide thoughtful, individualized physical therapy for patients with a wide variety of needs. Depending on your training and interests, this may include pelvic health as well as orthopedic and whole-body concerns that intersect with pelvic health.

Our patients may be navigating:

  • Pelvic, hip, back, abdominal, or other musculoskeletal pain
  • Urinary and bowel dysfunction
  • Pregnancy and postpartum recovery
  • Core and abdominal dysfunction
  • Sexual health concerns
  • Return to exercise, sport, or meaningful activity
  • Movement limitations and orthopedic conditions
  • Other pelvic health concerns across the lifespan

Your role will include:

  • Helping patients feel heard, comfortable, and supported
  • Performing thoughtful assessments to understand the contributors behind their symptoms
  • Developing individualized plans of care based on each patient's goals
  • Using therapeutic exercise, movement retraining, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy, education, self-care strategies, and other appropriate interventions
  • Helping patients better understand their bodies and giving them tools they can carry beyond the clinic
  • Maintaining accurate, efficient documentation
  • Collaborating with our clinical team and other healthcare providers to support comprehensive care

For PTAs: Care will be provided under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist with an emphasis on collaboration, continued learning, and developing your clinical skills.

Who Might Be a Great Fit

We aren't looking for one exact résumé.

You may be an experienced pelvic health clinician looking for a practice that gives you more time and autonomy. You may be an orthopedic PT who has always been intrigued by pelvic health. You may be earlier in your career and looking for the kind of mentorship you hoped you would find after school.

What matters most to us is that you are:

  • Curious and interested in continuing to learn
  • Compassionate and patient-centered
  • Thoughtful in your clinical reasoning
  • Comfortable asking questions and collaborating
  • Open to feedback and mentorship
  • Interested in whole-person care
  • Looking for a sustainable way to practice physical therapy
  • Excited to be part of a small team where your ideas and contributions matter

Pelvic Health Experience

Pelvic health experience is welcomed, but it is not required.

For clinicians without previous pelvic health training, we are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in learning. Completion of an introductory pelvic health course will be required before independently treating pelvic health patients, and Oasis provides intentional, ongoing training and mentorship to help you build confidence and develop into a pelvic health specialist.

You will not simply be sent to a course and expected to figure out the rest on your own.

Qualifications

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in Oklahoma
  • Active BLS certification
  • Commitment to thoughtful, ethical, patient-centered care
  • Pelvic health training or an interest and willingness to learn

A Different Way to Practice

Oasis was built to be the kind of place we believe healthcare providers deserve to work: a place where you can spend meaningful time with patients, continue developing as a clinician, have autonomy in how you practice, and still have space for a life outside of the clinic.

There isn't one version of what working here has to look like.

Full-time, part-time, or somewhere in between—we are open to building a role around the right person.

If something about Oasis sounds like the way you have been wanting to practice, even if you aren't sure pelvic health is your next step, we would still love to hear from you.

Sometimes the best place to start is simply a conversation.
