We are looking for friendly, dependable, and service-focused Night Auditors to join our team at a brand-new Hampton Inn.

Because we are a 24-hour hotel operation, open availability is required, including the ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Schedules may vary based on business needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the hotel’s opening team and help establish a strong culture of exceptional guest service from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and friendly attitude.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately.
• Process reservations, cancellations, payments, and guest requests.
• Answer phones and respond to guest questions about the hotel and local area.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Monitor the hotel and front entrance during assigned shifts.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, management, and other departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
• Follow Hampton Inn and Hilton brand standards and hotel policies.
• Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with other hotel duties as needed.

Night Auditor Responsibilities

In addition to front desk responsibilities, Night Auditors will:

• Work overnight shifts and serve as the primary hotel representative during the night.
• Complete the nightly audit and verify hotel financial transactions.
• Reconcile daily revenue, payments, room charges, and deposits.
• Run required daily reports and prepare paperwork for management.
• Review reservations and ensure guest accounts are accurate.
• Complete end-of-day procedures in the hotel’s property management system.
• Conduct routine property checks throughout the overnight shift.
• Address guest needs and emergencies appropriately.
• Prepare the front desk and lobby for the morning shift.
• Perform light cleaning and organization of the lobby/front desk area as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred but not required.
• Previous night audit experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working independently, particularly during overnight hours.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle cash and financial transactions responsibly.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult situations.
• Must be able to work all shifts as needed, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
