Lead the Opening of a Brand-New Hilton Hotel

We are seeking an energetic, results-driven, and hospitality-focused General Manager to lead the successful opening and ongoing operation of our brand new 109 room Hampton Inn by Hilton located in the heart of the new Oasis development in Marion, IL. Surrounded by a premier sports complex, indoor sports dome, family entertainment center, event spaces, and unique shopping and restaurants; this hotel will appeal to the traveling family and corporate traveler alike.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced hotel leader to build a team, establish a culture of excellence, and oversee all aspects of a new hotel launch from pre-opening through stabilization and long-term success.

The General Manager will be responsible for driving guest satisfaction, financial performance, team development, and operational excellence while maintaining Hilton brand standards and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead all pre-opening and opening activities, including hiring, training, operational setup, and brand compliance.

· Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing hotel team.

· Drive revenue growth through strategic sales, revenue management, and market positioning.

· Ensure exceptional guest experiences and maintain top guest satisfaction scores.

· Manage hotel budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and profitability goals.

· Oversee daily hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage.

· Maintain compliance with Hilton brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

· Build strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and tourism partners.

· Monitor key performance indicators and implement action plans to achieve operational and financial objectives.

· Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.

Qualifications

· General Manager experience preferred

· Previous hotel operating experience strongly preferred.

· Demonstrated success in driving RevPAR, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

· Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

· Experience with Hilton systems and brand standards a bonus.

· Proficiency in hotel property management and revenue management systems.

· Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

· Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
