Part-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Our established and expanding mental health clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dedicated team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed PMHNP seeking a flexible, part-time role while providing high-quality psychiatric care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat mental health conditions within your education, training, licensure, and scope of practice.
- Provide medication management and psychiatric services as appropriate to your scope of practice.
- Develop individualized treatment and care plans.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Provide compassionate, ethical, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Complete psychiatric evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required documentation.
- Protect patient privacy and confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and meet EHR and organizational documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with therapists, psychotherapists, and other members of the practice team to support coordinated client care.
- Represent the practice professionally, ethically, and passionately.
Qualifications
- Current, valid PMHNP license and certification appropriate to practice in the applicable state.
- Appropriate graduate-level education and clinical training.
- DEA License required.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and patient-centered psychiatric care.
- Must have experience working independently and collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
