What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Clinical Therapist – Private Practice - Flexible Schedule position at Oasis Mental Health?
Oasis Mental Health is an established private practice looking for an independently licensed mental health clinician to join our professional community.
We are seeking an LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist who is an experienced, thoughtful therapist and who values genuine therapeutic relationships, clinical autonomy, and a warm, supportive professional environment.
We provide clinicians with the infrastructure and administrative support of an established private practice while allowing them the autonomy to practice in their own clinical style and develop the areas of practice that are meaningful to them.
This is a particularly good fit for a clinician who enjoys being a therapist but doesn't want to build an entire private practice from the ground up.
- Flexible scheduling – create a schedule that works for you and your clients
- Established referral base – no need to spend your time and energy constantly searching for clients
- Professional office space in Aurora
- Administrative and practice support so you can focus on clinical work
- Clinical autonomy and the ability to practice from your own professional perspective
- A collegial environment with other experienced clinicians
- The opportunity to develop and grow your own clinical niche
- An established practice with systems and infrastructure already in place
- A practice culture that values clinicians as professionals, not as productivity numbers
We are looking for someone who is:
- Independently licensed in Illinois as an LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist
- Experienced providing individual, couples, or family psychotherapy
- Professional, dependable, and clinically responsible
- Warm, relational, and genuinely interested in understanding clients rather than simply treating symptoms
- Comfortable working independently while appreciating connection with a professional community
- Committed to ethical practice
- Interested in providing high-quality, thoughtful care rather than a high-volume, assembly-line approach to therapy
You have considered private practice but don't want to spend your evenings worrying about referrals, finding and maintaining office space, administrative systems, practice infrastructure, etc.
We are looking for a clinician who cares deeply about the work, treats clients with respect and compassion, and wants to practice in an environment where trust, autonomy, and positive regard apply to clinicians as well as clients.
If that sounds like the kind of practice environment you've been looking for, we'd love to hear from you.
