We are seeking a Bilingual Pediatric Dental Treatment Coordinator who is organized, compassionate, and great with both parents and kids.Hours:Full time: TUESDAY - THURSDAY 7:50-5:30PM // FRIDAY - 7:50-2:30PMOne SATURDAY & one MONDAY a month as neededPosition OverviewThe Treatment Coordinator plays a key role in helping families understand their child’s dental treatment and guiding them through the scheduling and financial process. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and fluent in both English and SpanishResponsibilitiesAssist the doctor during exams by charting findings and recommended treatmentCreate and present treatment plans to parents/guardians in a clear and supportive mannerDiscuss financial options, insurance benefits, and payment plansSchedule treatment appointments and coordinate with clinical staffVerify insurance benefits and assist with pre-authorizationsFollow up with patients regarding pending or unscheduled treatmentMaintain accurate patient records and documentationProvide excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience for children and familiesCommunicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, and front office teamUtilize Open Dental software for charting, treatment planning, scheduling, and patient recordsQualificationsBilingual (English/Spanish required)Previous dental office experience preferred (pediatric dental experience is a plus)Experience with Open Dental software strongly preferredKnowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insuranceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesFriendly, patient, and comfortable working with children and parents
