The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the upkeep, repair, and overall appearance of the property to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for guests and team members. This role performs routine maintenance, groundskeeping, and repair work across facilities, docks, and common areas while helping identify and address operational issues in a timely manner.

- Perform maintenance and repair work on buildings, docks, pilings, and general property infrastructure.
- Inspect facilities and grounds regularly to identify maintenance needs and support timely corrective action.
- Maintain landscaping and outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, raking, pruning, and weeding.
- Remove debris, trash, and other materials from the property to help maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Troubleshoot routine electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and general facility issues within the scope of the role.
- Review identified repair needs with the General Manager and assist in executing repair plans efficiently and safely.
- Help maintain a safe environment for guests, boaters, and team members by addressing visible hazards and maintenance concerns.
- Support property readiness by ensuring maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and organized manner.
- Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to support day-to-day operational needs across the property.
- Maintain a positive, responsive, and service-oriented approach when interacting with guests, vendors, and fellow team members.
- Prior facility maintenance, handyman, or general repair experience required.
- Experience with carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and resolve routine maintenance issues.
- Strong attention to detail with sound judgment and a safety-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as a team member.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, preferred.
- Valid driver’s license preferred; additional class licensing may be required based on location or equipment use.
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely and consistently in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone and in person.
- Primarily light, administrative work with occasional heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs.) and frequent moderate lifting (20–50 lbs.).
- Ability to move through varied marina environments and obstacles, with or without accommodation.
- Comfortable with extended computer use and repetitive fine-motor tasks.
