Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Water Well Drilling Helper to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on various drilling projects, supporting the installation of water wells. The role requires a strong labor work ethic and mechanical aptitude. Prior experience in construction or oil & gas industries is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Safety is a top priority. Work in the cold and heat year round.
Duties
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment
- Assist Well Driller to complete wells.
- Help set up and break down drilling sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Load and unload materials using forklifts and other construction equipment
- Assist with the transportation of tools and materials
- Follow safety guidelines in accordance with L & I regulations during all phases of drilling projects
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site
Experience
- Physical labor working with shovels and mud
- Familiarity with heavy equipment safety
- Mechanical knowledge
- Experience with horizontal drilling techniques or oil & gas operations is a plus
- Valid Drivers license
