Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site OR virtual position in Norwood, MA, for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. The responsibilities include performing psychiatric evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and monitoring patient progress. The practitioner will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based mental health care to clients. Facilitating patient education and providing compassionate care are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Mental Health Nursing, Nursing, and Psychiatric Care
- Qualified as a licensed Nurse Practitioner with specialization in mental health care
- Strong knowledge and skills in providing Mental Health Care and Psychiatric Care services
- Experience working in collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Exceptional communication skills and patient-centered care approach
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and prescriptive authority in Massachusetts
- Experience with innovative behavioral health treatments, such as TMS, is preferred
