As an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you'll help lead warehouse operations with a focus on organization, safety, and efficiency. You'll work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to manage staff, assign tasks, and ensure all shipping, receiving, and inventory processes run smoothly. You'll also take the lead on improving our inventory management system from the ground up, assisting with warehouse layout and process optimization to support growth.
This position requires a balance of leadership and hands-on involvement. You'll operate forklifts, oversee order fulfillment, and help maintain an accurate inventory. When the Lead Warehouse Supervisor is away, you'll step in to ensure all operations continue seamlessly. Your ability to make quick decisions, motivate your team, and maintain high standards of accuracy and safety will be key to success.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of warehouse supervisory or team lead experience and be comfortable managing people in a fast-paced environment. Forklift experience is required, along with basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory control systems. A strong communicator with a positive attitude and attention to detail will thrive in this role. The position requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. as needed.
