What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coaching Middle School Volleyball Coach 8th Grade position at Oakview Middle School?
Position is seasonal; depending on applicant status position may be hired through a third party vendor
- Volleyball playing and/or coaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of fundamental skills, rules, and basic game strategy
- Ability to teach and develop middle school athletes of varying skill levels
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Commitment to sportsmanship, character development, and a positive team culture
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage practices, games, and equipment
- CPR/AED, First Aid, and required district/state certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
- Must meet all district hiring requirements, including background check
