Job Overview
Oakview Estates Residential Care is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Resident Care Coordinator to join our dedicated healthcare team. The Resident Care Coordinator manages daily resident care, updates health plans, supervises caregiving staff and stays in contact with families and medical teams. Key responsibilities include care planning, staff supervision and family communication. The hours are flexible in a very friendly, home like environment working with long term, dedicated employees.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license with active registration
- Experience working in senior/geriatric care settings preferred.
- Strong managerial communication skills with staff, residents and families.
- Ability to perform patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and tube feeding management confidently.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and long-term care regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
- Competence in procedures such as venipuncture, sterile processing techniques, wound suturing, and airway management.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle intake processes, charge experience, and medical documentation efficiently.
