Oakton College is looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Onsite Job Coach to assist with students who are participating in
an Introduction to Hospitality course This program, now in its second year, provides neurodiverse students who are
enrolled in transitional programs, with an opportunity to have a paid internship in the hotel industry. In this short-term
position, the Onsite Job Coach will assist hotel staff with guiding and managing students during their 4-week
engagement.
Essential Functions of the Position:
Training Dates: November 17 - December 15, 2025
Location: Residence Inn, Wilmette
Days/Times: Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:30am-12:30pm
Pay: $25/hr.

- The primary role of this position is to assist in maintaining an environment conducive to learning and working
- Assist hotel staff with student management
- Work collaboratively with hotel GM and Managers
- Illinois Paraprofessional license, substitute teaching license, or professional Educator license
- Experience assisting with special education students
- Willing and able to meet the needs of students
- Must be enthusiastic about working with a special needs population
- Willingness to learn and assist in the evolution of this new pilot program
