High School Ministry Coordinator
Organization: Oaks Ministries
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Position Type: Full-time, salaried
Schedule: 40 hours per week, including Tuesday evenings and occasional nights and weekends
Compensation: $40,000
Benefits: Health and retirement benefits, paid time off, and professional and spiritual development opportunities
About Oaks Ministries
Oaks Ministries exists to empower the students of downtown Augusta to become Christ-centered leaders who transform their communities with the hope of the Gospel.
Rooted in Isaiah 61:3–5, we envision students becoming “Oaks of Righteousness” who use their God-given gifts to lead within their families, churches, communities, organizations, and businesses.
Important Information for Applicants
This is a hands-on ministry leadership position, not an entry-level youth work or primarily administrative role. The High School Ministry Coordinator must have meaningful, ongoing experience ministering directly to teenagers.
The strongest candidates will also have experience serving students and families in urban or under-resourced communities. Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate cultural humility, consistency, relational maturity, and a willingness to be actively present in students’ neighborhoods, schools, families, and activities.
Candidates without direct youth ministry experience will not be considered.

This person will lead Oaks Ministries’ high school programs while building long-term relationships with students and their families.
We are seeking a ministry leader who is both highly relational and entrepreneurial—someone who can faithfully lead existing programs while identifying needs, creating new initiatives, and turning ideas into well-organized, sustainable ministry opportunities.
