Job Summary
Our accounting team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support our day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone starting their accounting career or with some hands-on experience who is eager to learn, grow, and develop their skills in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable tasks
- Prepare and send customer invoices using information from production or sales teams
- Communicate with customers to answer invoice questions and assist with payments
- Process, post, and deposit customer payments accurately
- Work with managers to help resolve customer or vendor account issues
- Provide documentation to commercial customers as needed
- Support the accounting team with additional projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable experience is helpful but not required
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus, but training can be provided
- Customer service experience required
- Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail with a willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage priorities
