Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various clinical settings. As a Licensed Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans while ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations, to determine health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical guidelines.
  • Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care across various settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, and assisted living facilities.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and spinal taps while maintaining aseptic technique.
  • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient care and medical history.
  • Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.

Skills

  • Proficient in using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for efficient patient documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and CPT coding for accurate billing practices.
  • Experience in critical care settings with a focus on acute pain management and emergency medicine.
  • Familiarity with specialized treatments including botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatments.
  • Ability to effectively manage patients across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and those requiring hospice or palliative care.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 38 per week
