Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations, to determine health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical guidelines.
- Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care across various settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, and assisted living facilities.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and spinal taps while maintaining aseptic technique.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient care and medical history.
- Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.
Skills
- Proficient in using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for efficient patient documentation.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and CPT coding for accurate billing practices.
- Experience in critical care settings with a focus on acute pain management and emergency medicine.
- Familiarity with specialized treatments including botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatments.
- Ability to effectively manage patients across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and those requiring hospice or palliative care.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
