Position: ELA Teacher
Location: Oakridge High School
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education.
A valid Secondary Michigan Certificate as a teacher in the State of Michigan with an English
(BA) or Language Arts (BX) endorsement.
Recent teaching experience at or near level in subject being applied for is desirable
Demonstrated success as a collaborator and proven team player
Knowledge of the “workshop” format of instruction preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of teaching to multiple intelligences
Demonstrated successful communication skills with students, staff, administrators, parents, and community
Demonstrated successful experience utilizing technology
Demonstrated knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Grade Level Content Expectations and application in the classroom.
