Job Description:
The Milk Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering our glass-bottled milk to wholesale partners—including Modern Milkman’s warehouse—and various retail locations. This role involves operating a refrigerated (reefer) trailer, safely unloading products, and working efficiently in both warehouse and retail environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Representation
- Interact professionally and courteously with store personnel, warehouse teams, and customers.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with wholesale and retail accounts.
- Serve as a friendly and reliable representative of Oakridge Creamery at all delivery locations.
Milk Delivery Operations
- Deliver glass-bottled milk to wholesale and retail locations on schedule.
- Use GPS or route-planning tools to maximize route efficiency and timeliness.
- Safely unload deliveries using a pallet jack or liftgate, ensuring correct product placement and handling.
- Follow all product-handling procedures to maintain quality and prevent damage.
Order Accuracy & Documentation
- Verify deliveries against invoices or packing slips for accuracy.
- Record deliveries, returns, and discrepancies clearly and accurately.
- Assist with product counts and basic inventory tracking as needed.
Safety & Compliance
- Operate a CDL-class refrigerated delivery truck safely and responsibly.
- Comply with all DOT regulations, company safety protocols, and local traffic laws.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commercial driving standards and best practices.
Vehicle Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections; report issues promptly.Keep the truck clean, organized, and in proper working condition.
- Monitor reefer unit operation to maintain required temperature levels.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL class A license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in food or beverage delivery preferred.
- Ability to follow precise instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
- Willingness to work hard, get hands-on, and adapt to changing conditions.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
