What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner/Busser position at Oakmont Gardens?
- Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
- Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
- Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
- Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order.
- Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
- Assists in clearing, cleaning and resetting tables.
- Carries trays to/from dining room as needed.
- Delivers food to resident apartments.
- Keeps coffee and water glasses full for residents, often walking around the dining room to ensure glasses are full.
- Assists Servers as needed.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- Experience busing tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred; will train.
- Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
