What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Person position at OAKMONT COUNTRY CLUB?
The Houseperson is an integral member within the Food & Beverage Services Team. The Houseperson ensures all areas are setup to meet Member expectations and Oakmonts standards of excellence. This role is vital in setting up, tearing down, and maintaining all Clubhouse areas before, during and after events.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness throughout the Clubhouse
Read and follow party sheets to assist with the setup of all Clubhouse events
Set up room layouts according to the event
Reset tables, fills salt and pepper shakers
Reset/breakdown rooms after events have concluded
Replenish supplies in guest rooms
Transports linens to and from laundry for daily use
Perform clean-up and closing duties, as assigned
Attend pre-event meetings, as requested
Clean and return equipment to proper location
Sets up and prepare dining areas and banquet areas for service
Provide buffet service to members, as needed
Maintain cleanliness of porches and exterior entrances
Assist with deliveries to outlet areas (Paddle Hut, Grounds, Golf House, Golf Shop, Pool, Fitness Center)
Immediately alerts management of issues/concerns
Other duties, as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to life/move up to 50 pounds
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility throughout each work shift
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill duties
Must be able to operate all necessary equipment
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must maintain appropriate grooming standards established by Oakmont
