What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at OAKMONT COUNTRY CLUB?
We are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting role within our Accounting department that reports directly to our Controller.
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for maintaining exact records of accounts payable; reconciling accounts payable with invoices, purchase orders and expense reports; Preparing and /or issuing payments on accounts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle all Accounts Payable and check processing duties
- Examine all disbursements in terms of PA Sales Tax compliance
- Handle all petty cash transactions and oversee distributed petty cash locations
- Assist the Controller with accounting, financial reporting and analytical functions
- Develop and manage policies and internal control procedures
- Respond to internal and external inquiries
- Assist with annual audits
