Janitorial Supervisor

Oakmont Bakery is looking for a Janitorial Supervisor. In this position you will primarily be responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our janitorial and dish washing staff.

Starting Salary will range between $40-$50 K per year based on experience.

The Janitorial Supervisor works alongside their team to ensure that our bakery is kept clean, safe, in good repair, and in compliance with all health department requirements. As a supervisor you will be tasked with scheduling, hiring, and managing the facilities team while also assisting in general janitorial tasks.

Supervisory Responsibilities

· Oversees the daily workflow of the facilities team including scheduling, and supervising janitors and dishwashers.

· May assist in interviewing and hiring for facilities team.

· Assists in performing evaluations that are timely and constructive.

· Assists with discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

· Works with the Facilities and Production Managers to inspect facilities and equipment to ensure safe operations and cleanliness.

· Performs general custodial task according to schedule.

· Cleans restrooms, production areas, and dishes.

· Maintains inventory of custodial products and cleaners, and coordinates with supervisors to reorder as needed.

· Performs other duties as required.

Skills

· Experience as a Janitor, Facilities Manager or similar role

· Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment (preferred)

· Understanding of food safety practices

· Excellent time-management skills

· Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

· Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
