Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Provide vision and leadership for the firm, aligning Oakline Studio’s goals with the broader objectives of the Artori Group companies.
- Lead strategic planning, financial management, and operational oversight.
- Create and nurture a culture built around the concepts of collaboration, care, and creativity.
Business Development
- Actively pursue and secure new project opportunities; personally lead the preparation of proposals, fee negotiation, and contract finalization.
- Serve as the primary client relationship manager, maintaining high visibility and utilizing professional networks to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Define the firm's strategic market niche and manage all marketing efforts to ensure a steady pipeline of profitable work.
- Represent the firm at industry events and within the community to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Architectural Practice
- Serve as lead designer on all key projects, ensuring adherence to the firm’s design vision and quality standards from concept through construction.
- Provide oversight on all projects, ensuring quality design, technical accuracy, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Mentor and develop staff, providing guidance on design, project management, and professional growth.
- Maintain a balance of creative design leadership and technical rigor in all work.
Operations & Management
- Oversee project delivery, staffing, budgets, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Manage the financial performance of the firm, including revenue growth, profitability, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with sister companies in development, construction, and property management to ensure seamless integration of services.
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect in Missouri or North Carolina (required).
- NCARB certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive architectural experience, with significant time in leadership roles.
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
- Demonstrated experience working with or within a Private Equity, Real Estate Development, or institutional investment environment is highly preferred.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
