The Preconstruction Coordinator supports the Preconstruction team in preparing budgets, proposals, schedules, and other deliverables during the early phases of a project. The Coordinator will work closely with estimators, project managers, and business development staff to ensure accurate and timely information is available for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, review, and organization of preconstruction documents, including estimates, proposals, bid forms, and schedules.
- Track bid invitations, subcontractor responses, and proposal submissions.
- Maintain up-to-date project files, drawings, and specifications.
- Support the team with quantity take-offs and basic estimating tasks as directed.
- Communicate (primarily via phone) with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to collect necessary project information.
- Help prepare presentation materials for client meetings and interviews.
- Monitor and update preconstruction logs, checklists, and reports to ensure deadlines are met.
- Perform general administrative support for the preconstruction team, including scheduling meetings and distributing updates.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Bluebeam a plus.
