Responsibilities
- Operate rollers, screeds, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, paving machinery with precision and safety.
- Perform site preparation tasks including grading, leveling, excavation, and material movement to meet project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Assist with the setup of construction sites by positioning machinery and preparing the work area for ongoing operations.
- Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inspections, and any repairs or issues encountered during shifts.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment including rollers, screeds, backhoes, graders, and paving machinery.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery on construction sites with a focus on safety and efficiency.
