OakLeaf Clinics - Imaging has an opportunity to join our team as a full-time CT Technologist Lead! We're looking for a skilled CT Technologist Lead to provide clinical leadership while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Our healthcare network consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dietitians, nurses, respiratory therapists, medical assistants, and support staff working together with laboratory and imaging services to care for communities throughout the Chippewa Valley.
Position description
The CT Technologist Lead provides advanced technical leadership for computed tomography services, ensuring safe contrast administration, high-quality imaging, efficient workflow, and appropriate staffing coverage across all locations. This role supports CT Technologists through hands-on clinical work, scheduling oversight, and protocol adherence.
Responsibilities
- Performs CT examinations, including contrast-enhanced studies, in accordance with protocols and safety standards
- Assists with scheduling exams, patient check-in, rooming, chart preparation, and retrieval of prior imaging as needed
- Ensures proper patient screening, IV contrast administration, and emergency preparedness
- Reviews imaging orders for appropriateness and clinical indication; critiques CT images for diagnostic quality and protocol adherence
- Oversees contrast safety practices, documentation, and compliance
- Monitors CT equipment performance and image quality
- Coordinates service needs and communicates equipment issues to management
- Promotes CT certification and continuing education among technologists
- Creates and manages CT staffing schedules across imaging locations; provides direct clinical coverage when staffing gaps arise
- Supports onboarding and ongoing competency development for CT technologists
- Always set an example for all team members and models professionalism
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Work a flexible schedule within the clinic or department hours based on clinical demand or need
Qualifications
- ARRT Radiography and CT Certification
- Minimum 3–5 years of CT experience
- Informal or formal leadership experience, preferred
- Demonstrated advanced technical competency and image quality assessment skills
- Proficiency with PACS, EPIC, preferred
- Ability to safely lift, transfer, and position patients
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance clinical responsibilities with administrative and leadership duties
