Number Bib Attendant - Seasonal

We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Number Bib Attendant. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep numbered bibs in supply
• Supply and assign numbered bibs to the correct horses when they are walking from the stable area to the paddock to be saddled
• Open/Close the south gap gate at the appropriate times
• Ability to work required overtime
• Regular punctual attendance
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
• Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
• Ability to stand for periods of time and work in inclement weather when necessary
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arkansas Racing License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job the employee must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and must have the ability to stand, climb, push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
