School Site Based Substitute
A participant in the Substitute Teacher Incentive Plan (STIP) is a substitute teacher who serves at a specific school site every day for the entire period of the STIP contract and is required to report daily to an assignment of any grade level or subject area.
Qualifications:
Must possess or be eligible for a California regular teaching credential authorizing service in Grades K-12 or an emergency 30-day teaching permit.
Requirements:
Be prepared to work every instructional day as assigned on a day-to-day or long-term basis
Sign a temporary contract designed specifically for this purpose.
Participate in district and/or school site in-services as assigned.
