Position Type: Non-Certified Student Support Services/Food Services. The Head Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious and attractive meals, assisting with meal production as directed, maintaining and applying all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards and practices in all food service areas as required by federal, state, local, and district regulations and policies. They assist with daily dishwashing and equipment maintenance, operate the point of sale system, coordinate and implement sales promotions, and assist in the coordination of events and activities.
