Duties

• Assist with daily operations and maintenance of the cemetery.
• Conduct heavy lifting, , following proper techniques and safety protocols
• Operate equipment related to cemetery grounds keeping.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas by sweeping, organizing, and disposing of litter/debris materials regularly in and around the cemetery.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly at all times to ensure safety for yourself and colleagues
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Support team members in meeting daily goals by performing various manual tasks as directed

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge or experience working with machinery is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Strong understanding of safety standards and PPE use.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
• Physical stamina and endurance to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on teamwork, safety, and quality assurance

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
