Prep/Line Cook

Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Prep and Line Cook to prepare high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This

role is responsible for both food preparation and cooking menu items according to recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, organized,

and safe workstation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (subject to revision, reduction and/or increase):

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper portioning
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Assist with inventory, food rotation (FIFO), and restocking
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Properly label, store, and rotate food
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
• Respond to clients in a professional and friendly manner

Requirements

• Previous kitchen, prep cook, or line cook experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and fast-paced kitchen condition
