Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and hardworking Entry Level Landscape Laborers to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions. No prior experience is required, but familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus. This position provides a foundation for a career in landscaping, horticulture, and outdoor maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming
- Perform landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, and tree care
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping projects
- Support installation of hardscape features like patios or walkways
- Maintain irrigation systems and perform basic repairs as needed
- Conduct general site cleanup and ensure safety standards are followed
- Support excavation and construction activities using small equipment like dingos (training provided)
- Assist with gardening tasks including planting, watering, and fertilizing
- Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment
Experience
No prior experience is necessary; however, familiarity with the following skills is beneficial:
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools
- Lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices
- Use of hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as dingos
- Basic understanding of horticulture, tree trimming, and gardening practices
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and operations
