Job Purpose:

Oakhurst Country Club is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of club operations, including golf operations, food & beverage, weddings and events, hospitality, and member services. This role works closely with department managers and company leadership to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and strong financial performance.

Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, developing and monitoring budgets, supervising and training staff, overseeing tournaments, pro shop, range and cart operations, merchandising, tee sheet and POS systems, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and safety standards.

A major focus of this position is leading the food & beverage team, driving wedding and event sales, and promoting the club within the community to support continued member growth and satisfaction. The General Manager plays a critical role in fostering strong relationships with members, guests, employees, and the surrounding community while supporting the long-term success of Oakhurst Country Club

Qualifications:

• 3 years’ experience as a General Manager or similar managerial role at a golf course or within the hospitality industry
• 2 years of experience managing financials including Profit & Loss Statements preferred
• Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Point of Sale, Outlook, etc.
• Membership or affiliation with the Club Management Association of America (CMAA), PGA of America, or LPGA Professionals is preferred.
• Food & Beverage management experience and marketing or membership development experience are preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field or equivalent work experience preferred.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
