This is a full-time, on-site role for the position of Dean of Students, based in Jackson, KY. The Dean of Students will oversee and support student conduct, provide guidance and counseling, and foster leadership among the student body. Additional responsibilities include managing residence life, promoting a positive dorm environment, leading educational programs, and collaborating with staff to sustain a nurturing community aligned with Oakdale’s values and mission. The Dean will play a critical role in enhancing the holistic growth and development of students.
- Experience in managing Student Conduct policies and implementing behavioral expectations
- Skills in Student Counseling and providing emotional and academic support
- Familiarity with Residence Life management and fostering safe, inclusive living environments
- Ability to promote Student Leadership development and organize leadership programs
- Strong Educational Leadership capabilities, including collaboration with faculty and staff
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Christian education or similar faith-based environments (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
