What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist - Upper Kirby - PRN - **INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY position at OakBend Medical Center?
The Occupational Therapist is a qualified, licensed professional who supervises, evaluates and provides occupational therapy services to patients in the clinic as prescribed by the attending physician and directs daily clinical operations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous Experience In Occupational Therapy Preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners. Basic life support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care. Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses. Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric.
