This is a full-time, on-site role located in Maryland Heights, MO, for an Executive Chef. The Executive Chef will oversee culinary operations, including menu planning, staff management, food preparation, and maintaining high food safety standards. They will ensure the quality, presentation, and timeliness of food service for events and daily operations while managing inventory, budgets, and vendor relationships. The Executive Chef will also lead and inspire a kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
- Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, recipe development, and understanding of various cuisines
- Experience in kitchen staff management, team collaboration, and fostering a positive working environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, inventory management, and cost control principles
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Proficiency in menu planning and presentation with attention to detail
- Experience with vendor relationships and sourcing quality ingredients
- Certified Executive Chef (CEC) or equivalent culinary certification preferred
