The Concessions Cashier is responsible for taking guest orders, processing payments, and providing customer service during the Oceans Calling Music Festival. This position works in a high-volume festival environment and is responsible for following food safety, cash-handling, and alcohol compliance requirements.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible.
This is a seasonal role from September 25, 2026, and will end on September 27, 2026
This position will remain open until September 27, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Take guest food and beverage orders and process payments using the POS system.
- Provide customer service to festival guests.
- Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Serve food and beverages according to company and venue procedures.
- Check identification when required for alcohol purchases.
- Follow all company, venue, state, and local alcohol service requirements.
- Never sell or provide alcohol to minors or visibly intoxicated guests.
- Immediately notify a supervisor of alcohol compliance concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized concession stand.
- Restock food, beverages, cups, and other supplies as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, concessions, food service, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to learn and operate a POS system.
- Ability to communicate with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a high-volume festival environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move supplies as needed.
- Must be available to work the required Oceans Calling Music Festival schedule, including the weekend and extended shifts as needed.
