This role pays an hourly rate of $20.50-$23.50 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.
• Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures, including state and federal regulations.
• Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wines, and spirits to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size.
• Check guest IDs in accordance with age verification regulations.
• Communicate cut-off to guests as required.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed.
• Request additional products or restock as required.
• Maintain the issue bank at the bar.
• Keep a clean and sanitary workstation, ensuring bar equipment is well-maintained.
• Set up and break down bar equipment and assist with organizing the cooler as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months or more experience bartending.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Bartending school preferred.
• MAST Certification.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
