Reporting to the Department Manager or Designee, the Clinical Support Specialist Float provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to multiple departments across the hospital, including but not limited to the Emergency Department, Operating Room, and Medical-Surgical Unit.
This role assists with departmental organization, communication, and coordination to ensure smooth operations and continuity of administrative support. The Clinical Support Specialist – Floating must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in data entry, scheduling, or medical office operations preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with hospital information systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and departmental needs.
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with staff, patients, and the public.
- Experience should be in ER, OR, ICU or equivalent critical care environment.
- Current AHA BLS
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
- Must be able to move between departments as required.
- Hospital environment with exposure to varying levels of activity and occasional interruptions.
- May be assigned to different departments within a shift depending on staffing needs.
- Must be flexible to accommodate changing priorities and urgent tasks.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
