Title: Intern
Location: Oakdale, CA (On-Site)
Duration: 10 Weeks (June 8, 2026 – August 7, 2026)
Compensation: $22.00 per hour (estimate upon hire) | 30 hours per week | Non-Exempt
Total Compensation: For this internship, compensation consists solely of the base hourly rate. No additional incentive pay, bonuses, or benefits are provided.

About The Program
The Oak Valley Community Bank (OVCB) Early Career Internship Program is an exciting opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the banking industry while working alongside professionals in a structured, supportive environment. Interns will participate in daily operations, contribute to project work, and gain exposure to the entire lifecycle of a customer’s banking journey.
Interns Will Have The Opportunity To:
Learn about marketing strategies to attract potential borrowers
Understand the loan application and approval process
Participate in credit analysis to assess borrower creditworthiness
Gain insights into how every department contributes to the bank’s success
This program offers a comprehensive view of banking operations while allowing interns to explore career paths and develop skills in finance, credit, marketing, HR, and more.
Internship Tracks
Ideal Candidates:
~Majors: Business Management, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Data Analysis, or related fields
~GPA: Minimum 3.0 preferred
~Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
~Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint & Excel)
~Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
Ideal Candidates:
~Majors: Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related fields
~GPA: Minimum 3.0 preferred
~Strong verbal and written communication skills
~Ability to work collaboratively with others
~Capacity to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
~Perform assignments and projects as directed by leadership
~Utilize project management skills to track progress and meet deadlines
~Build a network within assigned departments and across the organization
~Develop and refine verbal and written communication skills
~Complete assigned coursework and participate in self-learning
~Assist with administrative tasks and departmental support
~Demonstrate initiative and contribute to a collaborative work environment

- Current enrollment in an accredited degree program
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
