Position Responsibilities:
Under DVM supervision, you will:
- Obtain patient histories and record vital signs (TPR)
- Prepare medications and administer vaccines
- Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
- Assist in surgery and anesthetic monitoring
- Carry out treatment plans and monitor recovery
- Perform in-house lab testing and follow-up calls
Qualifications:
- RVT license (or experienced assistant)
- Previous veterinary experience required
- Strong animal handling and restraint skills
- Experience in catheterization, sample collection, and lab work
- Dental and radiology knowledge a plus
- Critical care and exotic animal experience valued
