Join Our Team at Oak Tree Learning Center!
Hiring: Full-Time Preschool Teachers
Do you love working with children and want to help them grow academically, socially, and emotionally? Oak Tree Learning Center is looking for passionate Preschool Teachers to join our team!
At Oak Tree, we believe every child deserves meaningful learning experiences that prepare them for school and for life.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Purposeful teaching: Use our MAE for Pre-K Curriculum (Meaningful, Assessment-Ready Experiences) — a hands-on, play-based approach that helps children learn with purpose.
- Supportive culture: We’re a team that values growth, collaboration, and positivity.
- Work-life balance: Monday–Friday only — no nights or weekends!
- Competitive pay & benefits: $17.00 /hr (based on years of experience)
- Career growth: Opportunities to advance to Assistant Director or Director roles.
What Makes Our Curriculum Special
Our MAE for Pre-K Curriculum has three key parts:
- Curriculum – Learning with Purpose: Weekly, hands-on lessons that connect learning to real-life skills in science, math, and problem-solving.
- Pedagogy – How We Teach: Small group and one-on-one learning to meet each child where they are.
Assessment – Watching Growth Happen: Teachers observe, celebrate, and support progress instead of relying only on testing.
We also connect learning beyond the classroom:
- Parents stay involved through Brightwheel and monthly events.
- Children engage with the community through projects and local partnerships.
Your Role
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom.
- Use the MAE for Pre-K Curriculum to guide daily activities and lessons.
- Support social-emotional growth and positive behaviors.
- Communicate regularly with parents and the Oak Tree team.
- Keep your classroom organized and inviting.
What You Need
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
- A valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, associate, or bachelor’s degree in ECE
- 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.
