What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Attendant / Housekeeper position at Oak Street Inn & Lounge?
Job Summary:
We pay $35 per room we have an 8 room boutique hotel, hours are 11-4 Saturday and Sunday and Some weekday availability We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests.
Duties:
- Clean and tidy all areas in the facility according to established standards
- Perform various cleaning activities such as laundry, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to procedures
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Experience with floor care, industrial cleaning, or housekeeping management is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
